Hello and thank you for your interest in real estate on the beautiful Emerald Coast! My name is Dean Ladick, Team Leader of The DestinDeano Team and Associate Broker at Keller Williams Luxury – Emerald Coast. I want you to know a little about me and my team, should you honor us by selecting us to represent you. Although born in Miami, I actually grew up in a town called “Patchogue” on the south shore of Long Island, N.Y. (not far from the Hamptons). After graduating from The University of Pennsylvania in ’87, I moved to Atlanta and opened Lenox Mortgage, Inc. in 1988. For almost 25 years, the extensive knowledge I gained in this aspect of the real estate industry has proven to be invaluable to my clients and my business. I am always drawn to water and the beach, so I quickly learned about The Emerald Coast, only a 5-hour drive from Atlanta. Thinking that sand was only brown or reddish-brown, my first time gazing at these beaches and The Gulf of Mexico, was nothing short of mind-boggling. On that day, I made the decision that I would eventually live here. It took me 18 years, but I finally moved my company and my life to Destin in 2004. I wish I had done so 10 years earlier! Although I never did any subprime or “junk” lending, I saw the writing on the wall with wholesale lenders offering dangerous loan products, to folks who would never be able to pay them back. The crash was coming and I knew it. I also knew that the financial, mortgage and real estate markets have historically vacillated…sometimes wildly. Having helped realtors write their contracts for over 20 years, I decided to get my real estate license in 2005, then open my own real estate firm (Beach Quest Properties) in 2008. In 2015, I was approached by members of Keller Williams, who intended upon starting a Luxury Division here in Destin. After extensive research, I realized that the name recognition of this top-quality firm, the resources they offer and my association with other top professionals would not only be to my advantage, but to my clients’ as well. It’s all about providing the best possible service and experience for those who put their faith in me and my team. My thirst for knowledge led me to continue to hone my skills and better learn my trade, so I kept working to earn over a dozen different professional designations and certifications….which helped me elevate the quality of the service I provide exponentially. Even now, I am currently working on becoming a Certified Real Estate Planner, which will allow me to work with Trust, Probate, and Divorce attorneys, in addition to Certified Financial Planners and Wealth Managers alike. The overall goal is to help my clients and associates build generational wealth. Everyone on our team brings something of value to the table from their individual histories, including: project management, bookkeeping/accounting, property management. Some of us are licensed in other states, including Alabama & Texas. In addition, we are part of several extensive referral networks, such as Keller Williams Luxury & Luxury Pro, Zillow, Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist Group, Sellers Representative Specialist, Resort & Second Home Property Specialist Group and numerous other professional associations.
